Job description

Solar Sales Representative

Location: Boston, MA

Shift: Full-Time

Division: Blue Raven Solar Sales

Compensation:

  1. Commission only
  2. Earn $2,800 - $8,000+ per deal, depending on system size
  3. Top reps close 3-6 deals a month

Requirements:

  1. Live within 45 minutes of the office
  2. Willing to commute to the office multiple times a week
  3. Fluent in English
  4. Valid US driver's license
  5. Comfortable working in a commission-only role
  6. Willing to work a minimum of 30 hours a week

Position Summary:

In this role, you will represent our company by educating homeowners about solar energy benefits and guiding them through switching to renewable power. You will generate your own leads and meet with homeowners during scheduled appointments.

Responsibilities:

  1. Travel to potential customer homes to present solar solutions.
  2. Leads may be provided after training.
  3. Use personal networks, social media, and door-knocking to create sales opportunities.
  4. Educate potential customers on solar benefits with personalized proposals.
  5. Follow up with customers to ensure smooth transition to solar energy.
  6. Maintain a professional, consultative approach during presentations.
  7. Speak passionately about the positive impacts of solar energy.
  8. Communicate effectively; sales experience is preferred.
