Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC's WECTEC Staffing Services seeks a Project Manager - T&S (Transmission & Substation) for a 1-year contract. You will lead pre-construction efforts for solar repower, manage schedules, budgets, and risk, and coordinate with engineering and regulatory teams to ensure safe, compliant execution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in utility-scale renewable pre-construction, interconnection experience, and knowledge of solar construction with PMP optional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in utility-scale renewable energy pre-construction project management or engineering.
• Experience with utility interconnection processes.
• Knowledge of solar construction.
• PMP certification is optional.

Responsibilities

• Lead pre-construction project teams through all phases from development handoff to execution turnover.
• Develop detailed project schedules, budgets, and risk registers for multiple concurrent projects.
• Oversee engineering design activities including electrical, civil, structural, and mechanical disciplines.
• Coordinate interconnection studies and grid integration requirements.
• Lead project meetings, reviews, and milestone presentations.
