Job summary

Gregory Electric in Columbia, SC is looking for a Renewable Energy Foreman to install and maintain commercial and industrial renewable energy systems, including solar PV and battery backup systems. This role involves supervising apprentices and ensuring compliance with specifications and safety protocols on site.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in solar PV systems with at least 5 years of construction experience, including 2 years in supervision. The position requires leadership skills and a commitment to safety and quality in construction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of construction experience, with at least 2 years in solar or electrical project supervision.
• Familiarity with NEC and OSHA regulations and job site safety best practices (OSHA 30 preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install racking, PV modules, wire, conduit, inverters, DC/AC combiners, and breakers.
• Lead on-site meetings, safety briefings, and schedule coordination with crews.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
