Job summary

Enertis Applus+ seeks an Associate Project Manager to join our growing renewable energy consultancy. The role is client-facing, travels as needed, and reports to the Senior Manager of Consultancy.

You will support project management across consulting, engineering, and testing projects, including solar resource studies and storage energy modelling. The ideal candidate has 2–4 years in PV design/construction, strong analytical skills, and a track record in solar projects.

Qualifications

• 2 to 4 years of photovoltaic design, construction, and/or maintenance.
• Strong analytical and technical as well as problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to perform under high pressure and dynamic work environment managing multiple project deliverables.
• Proven experience in solar projects, either in consulting, engineering, construction and/or development.
• Excellent understanding of solar electrical design.
• Demonstrated ability to assimilate technical and commercial information and translate that into appropriate opinions or assessments.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Project Managers in management of consulting, engineering and testing projects assigned.
• Producing performing solar resource studies and energy production estimates using tools such as PVsyst.
• Producing energy modelling on storage projects using tools such as Homer.
• Analyzing and opining on renewable energy project level documentation such as interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, EPC agreements, O&M agreements, permits, and environmental reviews.
• Verifying and opining on electrical designs of renewable energy projects.
• Be able to evaluate or understand production data provided by clients and assist with analyzing said data.
• Perform reviews and opining of equipment used on potential renewable energy projects.
• Continuous evaluation of process improvement for technical due diligence reports produced.
• Manage deadlines and expectations.
• Ensure the highest level of quality assurance and quality control of own work.
• Take full responsibility of the tasks assigned work with autonomy.
