Job summary

Sargent Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager - Solar for our De Pere, WI office. The role oversees estimating, supervision, and management of multi-million-dollar solar projects. Remote work is possible, with regular travel to project sites required.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or superintendent experience, and at least 6 years of project leadership in electrical construction. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or superintendent experience.
• Minimum of 6 years of project leadership on multi-million-dollar electrical construction projects.
• Good working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform estimating and solicit pricing from subcontractors, material and equipment vendors.
• Assemble and submit proposals with requested documents.
• Review and understand the terms and conditions of project contracts.
• Provide input into the development and execution of subcontracts and vendor purchase orders.
• Assemble project tool and equipment needs and manage budgets, schedules, and resources.
• Direct supervision of project staff and timely project updates to management.
• Ensure safety, workmanship quality, and compliance with drawings and specs.
• Visit and walk project sites regularly and provide feedback to improve performance.
