Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Project Manager for Solar Projects on a 1-year W-2 contract. You will own assigned Solar projects, lead early-stage activities, and coordinate with the Regional Lead to ensure turnover to Construction.

The role reports to the onsite Manager in Juno Beach, FL. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering, plus strong financial and data analysis skills, mechanical awareness, and solar/energy sector experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering.
• Strong financial and data analysis skills.
• Mechanical awareness and interest in technical variables.
• Experience in Construction, Energy or Solar sectors is helpful.
• Interest in pursuing Project Management career growth.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned Solar projects and manage them through Early-Stage processes.
• Analyze technical and financial data to track variables, indicators and trends.
• Develop and manage the project capital budget and construction plan.
• Coordinate with SMEs for development and permitting support.
• Support negotiations and execution of commercial contracts.
• Interface with executive leadership and regional lead on progress.
• Utilize multiple software applications to support project data and deliverables.
