Job summary

Good Energy Enterprise is seeking a Solar & BESS Project Manager to oversee commercial and utility-scale solar PV/BESS projects from preconstruction to commissioning. You will collaborate with engineering, development, construction, and executive leadership to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of PM experience, a related engineering degree, and proficiency with Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, and ERP/CRM systems. PMP is a plus.

Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of project management experience supporting commercial and/or utility-scale solar PV projects highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Renewable Energy, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience managing projects from early development or preconstruction through construction and commercial operation.
  • Strong understanding of EPC project delivery, permitting, interconnection, site development, and construction management.
  • Experience developing project schedules, managing budgets, reviewing contracts, and coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Proficiency with industry software such as Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, ERP/CRM systems, or similar project management platforms.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • NABCEP certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of commercial and utility-scale solar projects from preconstruction through commissioning and turnover.
  • Lead constructability reviews, site evaluations, feasibility assessments, and preconstruction planning activities.
  • Oversee EPC contractors, subcontractors, and field construction activities while ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance.
  • Conduct site visits during preconstruction and active construction phases to monitor project progress and QA/QC.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and CAPEX estimates.
  • Manage permitting activities, regulatory compliance, utility coordination, and project documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, drawing revisions, and project deliverables.
  • Lead project meetings with internal teams, contractors, developers, and external stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning activities, punch-list completion, warranty coordination, and final project closeout.

Salary : $135,000 + Bonus

We are seeking an experienced Solar & BESS Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of commercial and utility-scale solar PV/BESS projects from preconstruction through commissioning and project closeout.
