We are looking to hire a talented Solar Project Manager to support our De Pere, WI office. This position is responsible for estimating, supervising, and managing construction activities for multi‑million‑dollar solar projects. The role can be worked remotely, but travel to project sites on a regular basis is required.

Responsibilities
  • Perform estimating and solicit pricing from subcontractors, material and equipment vendors.
  • Assemble and submit proposals with requested documents.
  • Review and understand the terms and conditions of project contracts.
  • Provide key input into the development and execution of all subcontracts and vendor purchase orders.
  • Compile project tool and equipment needs.
  • Successfully manage assigned projects including budgets, schedules, resource and workforce allocation, communication and client satisfaction.
  • Make timely decisions and provide direction to ensure project success.
  • Properly utilize and manage company‑owned and rented equipment.
  • Direct supervision of all project‑assigned supervisory and other management office staff.
  • Provide appropriate guidance and input into the development and updating of all project schedules, job cost and other management reports.
  • Review and approve all project purchases.
  • Review and approve all key job‑site construction methods and practices.
  • Prepare and submit necessary monthly job cost and other financial reports.
  • Support all company training and employee development activities and provide feedback as necessary.
  • Visit and walk project sites on a regular basis and provide feedback, input, and follow‑up as required.
  • Ensure that all work meets the highest standards of workmanship and that all materials are in compliance with project specifications and drawings.
  • Manage all job close‑out procedures to ensure project and company requirements are met.
  • Assume additional duties and responsibilities as delegated by the management team.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or experience as a superintendent for an electrical contractor.
  • Minimum of 6 years of project leadership experience successfully completing multi‑million‑dollar electrical construction projects.
  • Good working knowledge of computers and basic software applications.
