Job summary

US Modules in College Station, TX is seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee daily manufacturing operations on the production floor. You will coordinate operators, manage throughput, and support safety and quality compliance to hit production targets.

This hands-on leadership role requires clear communication, training of operators, and collaboration with Maintenance, Engineering and Quality to drive continuous improvement. Shift is 12‑hour on-site, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of manufacturing or production experience.
• 1+ year of experience as a team lead, lead operator, or acting supervisor.
• Strong understanding of production processes and safety requirements.
• Ability to communicate clearly and lead by example.
• Experience with lean manufacturing/5S is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate production operators on assigned lines or areas.
• Ensure daily production targets, throughput, and quality goals are met.
• Assign tasks, manage breaks, and support shift handoffs.
• Monitor production performance and elevate issues as needed.
• Support line startups, shutdowns, and changeovers.
• Enforce safety rules, PPE usage, and standard work practices.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards and inspection requirements.
• Conduct safety talks, quality checks, and shift communications.
• Identify hazards, defects, and nonconformances.
• Perform first‑level troubleshooting and coordinate with Maintenance/Engineering/Quality.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement.
