Job summary

Illuminate USA in Pataskala, OH, is seeking a Production Operator for our 1.1 million-square-foot solar panel factory. You will operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment, following SOPs to ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced environment.

This fully onsite role offers 12-hour shifts (day or night), PPE provided, and opportunities to grow with a rapidly expanding company in central Ohio's renewable energy sector.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, equipment operation, or a similar environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn new systems, tools, and processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and equipment interfaces.
• Reliability, integrity, and commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and adjust automated and semi-automated production equipment to maintain consistent product quality and output.
• Perform visual inspections of materials and finished products, identifying defects and escalating issues when needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including performing routine equipment cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Support continuous improvement by recommending process enhancements and identifying quality risks.
• Adhere to all safety requirements, including proper use of PPE and safe equipment operation.
• Assist with material handling, loading and unloading, and line changeovers as required.
• Support training efforts by sharing knowledge, demonstrating processes, and assisting new associates.
