Job summary

Hanwha Convergence USA is seeking an O&M Field Technician Apprentice to assist site technicians with routine maintenance of inverters, transformers, trackers, modules, and related systems. You will work with trained personnel to build knowledge and skills in the solar industry.

Responsibilities include field maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, inventory management, and strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure reliable energy systems performance.

Qualifications

• MS Office experience (Outlook, Excel)
• Basic electrical principles
• Familiarity with common hand tools
• Experience using CMMS programs
• Electrical testing equipment knowledge (multimeter, IV Curve Tracer)
• SCADA system monitoring experience
• Medium and High voltage experience
• 0–2 years solar experience

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair inverters, trackers, and other systems on site.
• Perform routine testing and repair of DC electrical circuits.
• Troubleshoot and repair faulty equipment.
• Manage on-site inventory and equipment.
• Ensure site safety and security.
• Conduct electrically safe testing before maintenance.
• Log and record maintenance activities.
• Adhere to LOTO, PPE, and safe working practices.
