Job summary

Heliene, a fast-growing solar module manufacturer, seeks a Manufacturing Engineering Manager in Mountain Iron, MN. You will lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes and systems, driving quality and efficiency on the shop floor.

Reporting to the VP of Engineering, you will oversee the Manufacturing Engineering team, manage capital projects, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet production goals while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Four-year engineering degree and at least five years related experience.
• At least three years of supervision experience or equivalent.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and process improvement is a plus.
• Experience with robotics or automation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of Power BI and ISO 9001/14001 is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and improvement of manufacturing processes and systems.
• Develop work processes to increase productivity and efficiency.
• Lead and mentor the manufacturing engineering team.
• Coordinate capital equipment purchases and plant upgrades.
• Collaborate with senior management on strategy and cost management.
• Ensure safety and compliance in manufacturing operations.
