Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Solar Laborer I to support the installation and servicing of solar projects. The role focuses on preparation, handling, and supplying materials for other crafts on the job site, enabling smooth workflows and adherence to safety standards.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading equipment, rigging, pile layout, racking assembly, torque tube assembly, and assisting with solar panel installation.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction preferred.
• Experience with power and hand tools and equipment listed.
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including openness to diverse input and feedback.
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements.
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
• Duties may change without notice.

Mortenson is currently seeking a Laborer I that will be responsible for the preparation, handling, and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Load and unload equipment and materials
• Responsible for the preparation, handling and supplying of materials to be used by other crafts
• Solar panel install
• Rigging
• Racking assembly
• Torque tube assembly
• Pile layout
• General cleanup and clearing of debris
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in construction preferred
• Ability to work with tools and equipment such as power and non-powered hand tools, vibrators, pumps, drills, and jackhammers; forklifts, skid loaders, and power buggies
• Strong teamwork orientation; positive attitude and professional customer service skills; detail orientation; active listening skills and effective communication, including an openness to diverse input and feedback
• Repetitive hand, arm, leg movements
• *Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling: up to 50 lbs.
