This position involves assisting the installation team with solar-related installations, service calls, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include installing solar systems, performing site surveys, electrical wiring, commissioning systems, and troubleshooting. The role requires physical activity such as working on rooftops, lifting heavy equipment, and working in various weather conditions.

Required Qualifications/Experiences:
  • NABCEP PV associate or board certification is a PLUS
  • Knowledge of residential and commercial electrical systems, cabling, and installation methods
  • Experience with solar equipment, modules, inverters, racking, and monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of current national electrical codes
  • Experience with electrical drawings and site surveys
  • Proper use of fall prevention and restraint systems
  • Comfort with technology, software, mobile apps, and computers
  • Experience with Enphase, SMA, IronRidge, Unirac, Sunmodo systems is a PLUS
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Gathering materials for jobs, organizing warehouse space
  • Performing site surveys and all parts of solar installation
  • Commissioning and activating systems
  • Learning about new equipment and improving work quality
  • Completing service calls and troubleshooting systems
  • Assisting with electrical work orders and other tasks
Physical Demands:
  • Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, sitting for long periods
  • Climbing ladders
  • Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
  • Working in adverse weather conditions
