Job summary

SunPower is seeking a Solar Panel Installer at an entry level for full-time work (40-45 hours) with paid training. You will spend 70-90% of your day on rooftops installing solar systems, navigating varying angles and weather conditions, while learning and delivering customer service.

Essential duties include following layout plans to mount racking, modules, and electrical equipment; supporting the crew to complete installations; documenting quality work; and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds consistently.
• Comfort with working on ladders, stairs, and rooftops.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Residential solar installation experience preferred but not required.
• Roofing or residential construction experience preferred but not required.

• Support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation

Position Summary:

As a Solar Panel Installer, you must be a hard worker ready to help with the installation of solar systems. You will spend 70-90% of your day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions.
