Job summary

SunPower is seeking an Entry-Level Solar Panel Installer to help install residential solar systems. You will spend 70-90% of your day on rooftops, facing different angles and weather conditions. The right candidate is eager to learn, hardworking, and committed to delivering world-class customer service while helping maintain a healthy work/life balance.

Full-time role in Raleigh, NC with paid training. Prior roofing or solar experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Entry-level position with paid training.
• Must be able to work on rooftops in varying weather conditions.
• Follow OSHA safety standards during installations.
• Must be able to carry up to 60 pounds.
• Residential solar installation experience preferred but not required.
• Prior roofing/construction experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follow layout plans and perform the structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment.
• Support the crew to assure the successful completion of the solar system installation.
• Document completion of quality installation.
• Compliance with OSHA standards

Solar Installer

Job Level: Entry-Level

Shift: Full-time (40-45 hours)

Compensation: $60,000-$80,000/year plus paid training

As a Solar Panel Installer, you must be a hard worker ready to help with the installation of solar systems. You will spend 70-90% of your day working on rooftops with various angles and heights in all weather conditions. • Must be able to consistently carry up to 60 pounds
• Must be comfortable working with heights (Ladders, stairs, and roofs)
• Must have a reliable means of transportation
• Prior residential solar installation experience preferred but not required
• Prior roofing/roofer experience or residential construction preferred but not required
