We’re Freedom Forever, a fast-growing solar company known for innovation and quality, looking for people eager to build a career as Solar Installers.

As an Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining solar PV systems on various surfaces (rooftop, ground mount, structures). Daily tasks include measuring, cutting, drilling, working at heights, minor electrical work, assisting with structural upgrades, using hand/power tools, reading plans, following safety practices, and supporting senior team members.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Loading/unloading materials and equipment.
2. Assembling roof components efficiently and safely.
3. Performing electrical work as instructed.
4. Installing projects per plan sets and ensuring quality standards.
5. Flashing penetrations to maintain quality.
6. Ensuring compliance with all applicable codes and safety regulations.
7. Following directions from senior crew members.
8. Providing feedback for efficiency and compliance improvements.
9. Ensuring customer satisfaction and communication.
10. Travel and driving company vehicles as required.
11. Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: 6 months to 1 year PV installation experience preferred.

Skills & Abilities: Basic PV product knowledge, understanding of building standards and codes, professional communication, and proper conduit installation.

Physical Demands

Must be able to lift 50+ pounds, work at heights, and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and standing for long periods.

Travel Requirements

Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance for travel to various sites.
