Job summary

Valoris Group is recruiting an Install Manager to deliver domestic and commercial Solar PV and battery storage installations across Hampshire and the South Coast. The role blends hands‑on electrical work with installation leadership, developing toward full management of site delivery and team performance.

You will work closely with electricians, roofers and subcontractors, ensuring safety, quality and on‑time delivery across varied installations.

Qualifications

• Proven hands‑on Solar PV installation experience and ability to lead others.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations and NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent.
• Testing and Inspection qualifications, such as 2391 or equivalent.
• Experience leading installations or supervising others, or readiness to progress from a senior electrician.
• Strong organisation, communication and problem‑solving skills; willingness to stay on the tools initially.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Hampshire and the wider South Coast.

Responsibilities

• Lead installations: coordinate electricians, roofers and subcontractors across domestic and commercial PV & storage projects.
• Remain hands‑on initially: electrical installation work, testing, commissioning and CU upgrades for the first months.
• Plan site delivery: coordinate labour, materials, equipment and schedules with operations.
• Maintain quality and safety: monitor workmanship and resolve site issues.
• Manage completion and handover: ensure documentation, testing, certification and handovers are completed.
• Support teams and customers: guide installers, communicate with customers and keep operations informed.
