Job summary

Sunrun Inc. is seeking an Electrical Foreperson in Austin, TX to lead a solar installation crew of 3–6 members. You will oversee safety, quality, customer service, and productivity on residential and small commercial projects, ensuring timely completion and compliance with NEC standards.

The role requires a Journeyman license, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining excellent communication with customers and team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Journeyman License/Electrician Certification or equivalent per local/state requirements.
• Knowledge of NEC and applicable codes and standards; maintain NEC code book.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications up to date for continued employment.
• Physically capable of performing work duties and able to travel (5%).
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Lead successful installation of residential solar projects.
• Organize, lead, and train crew members to complete projects on schedule.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and customer service in all tasks.
• Manage construction workflow to drive productivity and efficiency.
• Ensure adequate materials and equipment are available for projects.
• Maintain project documentation and comply with OSHA standards.
