Job summary

Solar Energy Partners in Covington, GA is hiring Residential Solar Installation Crew Leads. The role requires a strong background in solar installation with at least 2 years of hands-on experience and preferred crew leadership experience. You will guide a crew through solar panel installations, wiring integration, and safety compliance on job sites.

Travel between 25% and 50% may be required. Competitive salary offered with paid vacation and holidays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in solar installation or a related field.
• Prior solar installation crew leadership is preferred.
• Working knowledge of electrical systems and principles.

Responsibilities

• Planning and coordinating team installing solar panels and related equipment, following design plans and specifications.
• Mounting solar panels on rooftops or other structures, ensuring proper alignment and positioning.
• Connecting wiring and electrical components to integrate solar systems into existing electrical systems.
• Performing tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning and safety of solar systems.
• Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues with solar installations and making necessary repairs.
• Assisting with site surveys and evaluations to determine feasibility and optimal placement of solar systems.
• Training team members on installation processes and procedures.
• Ensuring the team adheres to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
• Assisting Operations leadership with process development and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Working knowledge of electrical systems and principles.
• Experience / proficiency with hand and power tools commonly used in solar installation.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Clean MVR

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• Travel between 25% and 50%
