Cypress Creek Energy is seeking a Field Service Technician (Level 3) in the Durham, NC area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of solar PV systems, ensuring safe operation and reliability.

Candidates should have NABCEP certification and 3-4+ years PV maintenance experience, with strong electrical diagnostic skills and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualificações

• NABCEP Certified Installation Professional.
• 3-4+ years of PV maintenance experience including PV DC operations, AC MV systems, and monitoring.
• Experience with SCADA, DAS and UPS systems.
• Skilled in using testing equipment like thermographic inspection, IV curve tracing, meggers, and ground fault detection.
• Able to read electrical single-line and three-line diagrams.
• Proficient with MS Office suite.
• Valid Driver’s License; OSHA 10 HR; NFPA 70E.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 hours and occasional overnight.
• Knowledge of National Electrical Code and safe electrical practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventative maintenance on solar PV facilities on-site.
• Troubleshoot, test, and repair PV systems to ensure safe operation.
• Create service reports and manage spare parts inventory.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain vehicle, tools, meters, and equipment and ensure safety compliance.
