Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking a Solar Field Service Technician (Level 1) for a permanent, site-based position at a U.S. location. Candidates must be willing to relocate to any U.S.

location; relocation expenses and per diem are not provided. This full-time role is based at specific sites with no travel assignments initially. The technician will perform field maintenance, service solar equipment at multiple plants under supervision, and learn safe work practices in the solar industry.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent (required).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a mechanical/electrical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Basic understanding of solar installations/plants.
• Familiarity with testing equipment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• NFPA 70e safety training certification.
• Keep safety and technical trainings current.
• Strong communication in English (verbal and written).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and be on-call as needed.
