Job summary

CoVolt Power AHV seeks a Commissioning Superintendent for field-based solar energy projects. The role requires daily commute to the project site and close collaboration with the Project Management team to assure commissioning aligns with the owner’s contract.

You will direct commissioning personnel, coordinate with subcontractors, maintain documentation, and ensure safety on site while enforcing company and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience in solar and/or wind construction.
• Ability to manage personnel resources and schedules.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations on site.

Responsibilities

• Directs solar commissioning personnel and/or subcontractors to achieve completion of the project.
• Support the project team with planning and utilization of proper means and methods for activities.
• Create and maintain commissioning documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
• Assure that all work undertaken is within approved scope boundaries and is in full compliance.
• Coordination with supplier testing & commissioning teams.
• Identify testing required per project scope of work and ITP.
• Communication with engineering parties to meet commissioning requirements.
• Acts as an electrical consultant to supervisory and field personnel in areas of electrical circuits and distribution systems.
