Overview

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Solar/EV Charging - Project Manager in the United States.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage large-scale energy and infrastructure projects that drive sustainability and efficiency. You will oversee projects including solar PV, EV charging stations, battery storage, lighting retrofits, and other facility improvement measures, managing all phases from planning to commissioning. Collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and clients, you will ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. This position allows you to apply your organizational, leadership, and technical skills in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment focused on sustainable solutions. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential as you coordinate multiple stakeholders and support operational and financial project goals.

Accountabilities

• Lead and manage commercial energy and infrastructure projects, including solar, EV charging, BESS, and lighting retrofits.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans; monitor progress to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Coordinate internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to resolve technical issues and maintain project quality.
• Oversee procurement, equipment selection, subcontractor scopes, and contract execution.
• Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives.
• Maintain project documentation, safety plans, and compliance with regulatory and performance standards.
• Support forecasting, billing, revenue tracking, and collections, contributing to overall project financial performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• PMP certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience managing multi-discipline projects, ideally over $2M in value.
• Familiarity with solar, EV charging, BESS, lighting, and other energy efficiency systems.
• Strong understanding of OSHA, safety protocols, and industry standards; OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work collaboratively in a remote or field environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, MS Project, and relevant project management or mobile applications.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs., work on ladders and stairs, and operate in various field conditions.
