Job summary

LiveWire Construction LLC is seeking an Estimator to support our Renewable Energy Division. The role focuses on reviewing project documents, performing takeoffs, developing cost estimates, and helping prepare competitive bids for commercial, community, rooftop, and ground‑mount solar projects.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, comfortable with solar project drawings and estimating software, and able to communicate clearly with project managers, field teams, vendors, and

Qualifications

• Experience in solar, electrical construction, estimating, or related roles.
• Ability to read drawings, specs, and project documents.
• Willingness to learn estimating software and bid procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review electrical drawings, specs, site plans, and equipment schedules.
• Perform quantity takeoffs using drawings and software.
• Assist in preparing detailed estimates, bid summaries, and bills of material.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, project management, and procurement to clarify scope and pricing.
