Job summary

Qcells North America is seeking motivated Equipment Technicians to support our solar manufacturing facility in Cartersville, GA. In this role, you will maintain and troubleshoot production equipment used to manufacture solar products including ingots, wafers, cells, and modules.

Technicians play a key role in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently while supporting production teams and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience with mechanical, electrical, or industrial equipment maintenance preferred.
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect, test, and adjust machine components to maintain performance.
  • Support production teams during equipment issues or process troubleshooting.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Monitor equipment performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams.
