Job summary

Arctic Home Living & Renewable Energy Systems in Wasilla, AK seeks a Sales Representative to drive renewable energy sales, educate customers, and manage CRM-driven leads. You will conduct site assessments, present customized solar solutions, and coordinate with installation teams to ensure seamless handoffs.

The role emphasizes strong communication, customer service, and the ability to work independently while aligning with brand standards and sales goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience in customer service or sales, preferably in home improvement, energy, or related fields.
• Must pass a background check and MVR check.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience with Alaska Native Corporations (preferred).
• Experience in solar sales is highly desirable (preferred).
• Working knowledge of PV systems, installation processes, and financing options (preferred).
• Familiarity with incentives for solar energy adoption (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through personal sales, lead follow-up, canvassing, in-store interactions, and event participation.
• Conduct site assessments and evaluate property suitability for solar installations.
• Educate customers on solar energy benefits, system performance, and incentives.
• Design and propose customized solar energy systems based on customer needs and site conditions.
• Prepare and deliver quotes, ROI analyses, and sales contracts.
• Maintain an organized CRM with leads, follow-up activity, and project notes.
• Collaborate with internal departments for smooth sales-to-installation handoff.
• Support marketing by providing customer trend input and product feedback.
• Stay current on product offerings, financing options, and interconnection requirements.
