Job Details

Our company, a leading player in the renewable energy industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solar Energy Asset Manager. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of creating a sustainable future through renewable energy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our solar energy assets, ensuring optimal performance, and implementing maintenance and operational strategies. This role requires a deep understanding of solar energy systems, a proven track record in asset management, and a strong commitment to environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

As a Solar Energy Asset Manager, you will be expected to

  • Manage and oversee the company's portfolio of solar energy assets, ensuring their optimal performance, efficiency, and profitability.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor maintenance strategies using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure the longevity and efficiency of solar energy assets.
  • Coordinate with various teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure the effective operation and financial performance of solar assets.
  • Analyze performance data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and contractors.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to evaluate the condition and performance of solar assets.
  • Stay abreast of latest developments in the solar energy industry and leverage this knowledge to improve asset management strategies.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have

  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification in renewable energy or asset management is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in asset management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Extensive knowledge of solar energy systems, including their design, installation, operation, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in using CMMS for managing maintenance activities.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • A strong commitment to environmental sustainability and a passion for renewable energy.
  • The ability to travel as needed for site inspections and meetings with stakeholders.
