Job summary

Bone Dry Roofing is seeking a motivated and skilled solar electrician to join our growing team. This electrician position works on local job sites performing solar installation, electrical troubleshooting, repairs, and service work for residential and commercial projects.

A company truck is provided for travel between work sites. This role requires 3+ years of electrical experience, PV knowledge, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on electrical experience.
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, circuitry, and systems installation with a strong understanding of AC and DC principles.
• Familiarity with solar photovoltaic (PV) technology, including panel types, mounting methods, and system components.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Solar Panels: assemble and mount panels for optimal energy capture.
• Electrical Wiring and Connection: wire panels to inverters, batteries, and grid interconnection points; follow local codes.
• System Testing and Commissioning: test systems and troubleshoot issues to ensure performance.
• Maintenance and Repairs: perform routine maintenance and diagnose faults to restore efficiency.
• Documentation and Reporting: keep records of installations, wiring diagrams, and test results.
