Job summary

GoGreen Solutions Inc is a commercial and residential solar EPC and system integration partner delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions across the Mid-Atlantic region. The Electrician role is full-time and on-site in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems for solar projects.

Duties include reading electrical drawings, performing system testing and troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with NEC codes and safety

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical engineering principles relevant to solar and general electrical systems.
• Practical electrical work skills, including installation, wiring, and panel setup for commercial and residential projects.
• Maintenance and repair abilities for electrical components and systems, ensuring reliable ongoing operation.
• Troubleshooting skills to diagnose faults, performance issues, and safety concerns.
• Familiarity with NEC, local electrical codes, and PPE/lockout/tagout procedures.
• Ability to work safely at heights and outdoors, lift equipment, and use hand and power tools effectively.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in electrical work is a plus.
• Journeyperson or Master Electrician license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems for solar projects.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Perform system testing and troubleshooting to ensure safety and performance.
• Collaborate with project managers and installation teams; document work performed.
