Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in CAD, Survey, Construction, or Engineering or BS in Engineering, Technology or related field.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Ability to lead design projects, mentor junior staff, and maintain design standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Design PV layouts and electrical plans across disciplines.
• Use PV case, PV Farm, SAM, PVsyst for design optimization.
• Create PV layouts to support electrical design with other disciplines.
• Perform electrical blocking and MV routing for PV design.
• Assist with generation of single line diagrams.
• Evaluate design alternatives for constructability and code issues.
• Utilize AutoCAD to produce construction plans and sheet layouts.
