The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy, experience with Helioscope/PVsyst/AutoCAD, and knowledge of NEC and local solar

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
• Experience with solar design software (e.g., Helioscope, PVsyst, AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of the NEC and local solar regulations.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer solar energy systems for residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
• Perform site evaluations, system sizing, and electrical load calculations to determine the optimal solar solution.
• Collaborate with project management teams to create accurate installation plans and schedules.
• Develop proposals, including cost estimates, system designs, and energy production projections.
• Ensure that designs comply with local codes, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with clients to explain system benefits, installation processes, and maintenance needs.
• Utilize design software and tools to create detailed layouts and schematics for solar installations.
• Provide technical support to the installation team and troubleshoot any design-related issues during installation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, regulations, and new technologies to enhance design capabilities.
