Job summary

Citadel Roofing and Solar is seeking a Solar Crew Lead to manage a field crew performing solar pre-wire and installation across NorCal. The role requires ensuring material accuracy, adherence to Citadel Safety and Installation Standards, and daily reporting to the superintendent.

You will coordinate material, schedule, and as-built drawings while maintaining truck stock, photos, and timecards. Field travel is involved with a focus on quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in commercial/multi-family solar installation
• Ability to read solar layouts and SLDs
• Experience with 3-phase electrical wiring and virtual net metering

Responsibilities

• Provide quality installations that will be able to be commissioned and inspected without issues
• Provide 100% of required photos for each installation daily (no exceptions)
• Maintain truck stock mid/max levels
• Communicate with Citadel Superintendent at a minimum every morning and afternoon
• Communicate before installation with Citadel Superintendent if installations will not match solar layout exactly for approval to install and supply as-built drawing day of installation
• Provide weekly timecard and safety documents required for entire crew
• Maintain company vehicle maintenance including washing interior and exterior of vehicle weekly
