Rhino Eco is seeking a dynamic and experienced Solar Consultants Team Lead to join our mission-driven team. This is a full-time position offering a competitive base salary plus performance-based incentives.

We’re not looking for just another sales manager - we want someone who understands that solar should be offered, not pushed. Our ideal candidate believes in empowering homeowners through clear, honest, and value-driven conversations, rather than aggressive sales tactics. You’ll actively engage leads yourself and also lead a remote team of consultants, managing the full customer journey from lead to close.

What Sets Rhino Eco Apart:

  • All prospects have received an initial AI-generated solar proposal, have shown strong intent to purchase, and are interested in learning more through a consultation call
  • Proposals priced 10%–20% below the market average
  • Use of premium materials, customized financing, and highly rated local installers
  • A transparent, affordable, and empowering solar buying experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, recruit, coach, and manage a remote team of Solar Consultants
  • Monitor performance and provide training/support to help consultants succeed
  • Champion Rhino’s customer-first culture and reinforce our “offering, not selling” philosophy
  • Oversee the full sales lifecycle, from lead assignment to contract close

Personal Sales:

  • Actively engage with qualified homeowner leads and close solar deals
  • Model transparent, value-based conversations focused on education, not pressure
  • Maintain a high personal close rate and set a strong example for your team

Customer Experience:

  • Provide guidance on solar product offerings, savings, and financing options in a clear, honest manner
  • Adjust the initial received AI-generated solar proposal to fit the customer's needs and ability.
  • Help customers feel confident in their decision to go solar, on their terms

Who We're Looking For:

We want a solar professional who is:

  • Passionate about changing how solar is adopted in the U.S.
  • Focused on educating and guiding homeowners through the process
  • Ready to lead by example, both in performance and approach
  • Committed to long-term customer value, not short-term commission wins

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of residential solar sales experience, including direct deal-closing
  • Experience managing and motivating sales teams
  • Deep understanding of the solar value proposition and customer buying behavior
  • Outstanding communication, coaching, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a remote-first, fast-paced environment

Compensation: Base salary + performance-based commissions. Commissions are earned through customer satisfaction and results, not pressure-based closing tactics.

Location: Remote, with flexibility to support customers and consultants across U.S. markets

Application Process: Includes an initial screening interview followed by a verbal mock consultancy call to demonstrate style and team leadership approach. Final candidates will also go through leadership interview. Total timeline: ~14 days from application.
