Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Solar General Foreman/Construction Manager for nationwide projects. This fully onsite role in Phoenix, AZ, requires 4+ years in utility-scale solar construction with leadership experience and deep familiarity with solar tracker systems.

You will lead and coordinate subcontractors, ensure safe, high-quality installations, and report progress to project teams. Travel nationwide up to 100% is expected, with per diem support and a long-term contract-to-hire path.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years in utility-scale solar construction with 2+ years in a leadership role (General Foreman, Superintendent, Construction Manager, Owner Rep, or QC Manager).
  • Strong understanding of solar tracker systems - hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction reporting tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and construction math skills.
  • Proven leadership and client relationship management.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide up to 100%.

Solar General Foreman/Construction Manager (Utility-Scale Projects)

Location: Candidates can live anywhere, open to candidates across the U.S. — 100% travel required

Employment Type: Long-term contract-to-hire

Salary: $90-100K + daily per diem

Travel Perks: 100% of All flights, hotels, and rental truck are prepaid; in addition to a daily food per diem of $80 for up to 7 days a week (~additional $500 a week)

About the Role

Join a leading solar tracking manufacturer and installation firm as a Solar Construction Manager, where you'll serve as a subject matter expert overseeing and/or instructing subcontracting construction companies in the installation of large-scale solar tracker systems across the country. This is a high-impact role for professionals with hands-on experience in utility-scale solar construction and a passion for delivering quality and safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
