Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building infrastructure and utility systems supporting a solar cell production environment. The role includes HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical system upkeep, with emphasis on reliability and safety in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certification or license in HVAC/mechanical/plumbing preferred.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing, pneumatic, mechanical, or electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on building infrastructure and utility systems to keep production environment stable and reliable.
• Maintain and repair HVAC support equipment, chilled water systems, pumps, cooling towers, valves, filters, piping, and related systems.
• Disassemble, inspect, troubleshoot, reassemble, and test mechanical equipment.
• Coordinate safety inspections and implement improvements with supervisor.
• Read and follow specifications and codes; fabricate parts as needed.
