Job summary

Pepper Construction Group LLC in Illinois is seeking carpenters to install solar panels and work on doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, ceilings and millwork across active sites.

You will build rough wooden structures, forms per sketches or blueprints, and measure and cut materials to spec while bracing forms and assembling frameworks. The role may involve scaffolding and occasional welding to steel members as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in carpentry and construction tasks.
• Ability to read sketches/blueprints or follow verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with measuring and cutting materials to spec.

Responsibilities

• Install solar panels and work on doors, hardware, trim, cabinetry, ceilings and millwork.
• Build rough wooden structures and formwork according to sketches or blueprints.
• Brace forms, measure materials, and assemble frameworks for buildings under construction.
• Erect scaffolding, ladders, walkways and platforms as needed; weld parts to steel members when required.
