Job summary

Standard Solar, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated professional to support project acquisitions diligence and solar development activities in the Rockville, MD area.

The role involves valuing projects, risk management, and making investment recommendations throughout the development lifecycle. You will interact with internal teams and external partners across site acquisition, interconnection, permitting, and policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; 5+ years in energy infrastructure development or related field.
• Experience in project management, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate with internal teams, partners, and regulators.

Responsibilities

• Lead diligence for acquisitions and development activities with partners and internal teams.
• Coordinate with legal, zoning, environmental, interconnection, and engineering consultants.
• Review purchase agreements, leases, interconnection agreements, and PPAs for compliance.
• Manage budgets, schedules, and deliverables; track milestones and deadlines.
• Engage AHJ, incentive administrators, and pricing teams; convey project risks.
• Prepare presentations summarizing research for stakeholder reviews.
