Job summary

Kamino is a leading liquidity and credit engine for on-chain finance and tokenized real-world assets. This hands-on role focuses on designing, building, and hardening production-grade Solana smart contracts and developer tooling.

You will own correctness, gas efficiency, and security of core protocol contracts, and coordinate with off-chain SDKs and infrastructure to ensure robust integration.

Qualifications

• Experience with Rust or low-level systems programming.
• Proven track record in smart contract development with security focus.
• Ability to read, reason about, and refactor distributed systems.
• Meticulous automated testing, fuzzing, and invariants verification.
• Strong autonomy in a fast-paced, asynchronous remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Protocol Feature Development: Design and build new protocol mechanisms within Solana contracts.
• Smart Contract Maintenance: Maintain and harden on-chain programs for efficiency and reliability.
• Security & Code Review: Conduct peer reviews, analyze audits, and implement fixes.
• Off-Chain Integrations: Coordinate contract updates with backend infrastructure and SDKs.
• AI-Native Engineering: Leverage AI tools to accelerate test coverage and code quality.
