Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO standards. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Civil, Geotechnical, or related Engineering field.
• Strong knowledge of ASTM/AASHTO soil testing standards.
• NICET Level II (Soils), ICC, ACI, or PennDOT certifications a plus.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work with mechanical lab equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform geotechnical lab tests such as grain size analysis, Atterberg limits, compaction.
• Calibrate, maintain, and operate specialized testing equipment.
• Record and verify data accuracy per ASTM/AASHTO standards.
• Supervise or mentor technicians and uphold safety and QA protocols.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure timely, high-quality results.
