ECS Group of Companies is hiring a Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Soils Laboratory Technician for our Austin team. No experience required; training is provided as you learn to perform a variety of soil tests under supervision.

You will assist with sample prep, run tests such as Atterberg limits, gradation, Proctor tests, and moisture content while documenting results and maintaining lab records. Driving may be required for fieldwork; certifications are supported.

Formación

• Requires good communication and basic math skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data recording.
• Familiarity with MS Word and Excel; ability to input data accurately.

Responsabilidades

• Performs basic laboratory tests on soil and construction material samples under supervision.
• Assists with sample preparation and testing procedures.
• Compiles test results and inputs data for reporting.
• Supports QA/QC and calibration records; follows safety and procedure guidelines.
• Assists with fieldwork as needed and maintains a clean lab environment.
