Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Obtain basic certifications per ECS Technician Policy.
• Valid driver's license if driving on behalf of ECS.
• Good communication skills (verbal, written, reading).
• Ability to lift up to 85 lbs and handle field equipment.

Responsibilities

• Performs field observation, testing, and sampling of soil, aggregates, and concrete under supervision.
• Assists with construction materials testing on project sites.
• Communicates daily with contractors, technicians, and project managers.
• Reports changing site conditions and testing needs to supervisors.
• Maintains daily field reports and data entry related to test results.
• Organizes and maintains field equipment and notifies of damage.
• Participates in project meetings with senior staff as requested.
• Performs other field and project support duties as assigned.
