Job summary

Jackson Services is seeking a Soil Room Attendant to receive, sort, and process soiled textiles in a fast-paced industrial setting. You will ensure proper classification and safety as you handle materials for washing, while maintaining productivity and quality standards.

Responsibilities include unloading carts, inspecting items, and following infection-control guidelines. This full-time on-site role offers a supportive team environment and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload carts, bags, and containers of soiled textiles.
• Sort linens, uniforms, garments, and other items by type, color, soil level, and wash classification.
• Inspect textiles for damage, stains, tears, and foreign objects.
• Follow safety, infection-control, and PPE requirements.
• Maintain production quotas and workflow requirements.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors.
