Job summary

Healthcare Linen Services Group in Madison, WI is seeking a dependable Soil Sorter for the 2nd shift. You will operate a moving conveyor, sort soil linen, and place items into the correct sling or cart while adhering to SOPs and quality standards.

Soil Sorter- 2nd shift

Full Time Hourly Direct Hires Madison, WI, US

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling/cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Be on time

• Be able to follow directions given by their team lead and supervisor
• This is a 2nd shift position
• Follow all company policies and procedures
• Possess and maintain a positive attitude
• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area in line with company policies
• Be able to work past the schedule, as production issues may arise with or without notice
• Perform any other duties as supervisor/manager sees fit

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cross-train on other routes per production needs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
• Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen
