Job summary

Healthcare Linen Services Group in Batavia, IL is hiring for a Soil Sorter. This full-time hourly role involves sorting linen on a conveyor, selecting soil linen, and placing it in the correct sling or cart.

You will follow SOPs and strive to meet quality and production standards. The position requires standing up to 10 hours, manual dexterity for sorting, and the ability to work 3:00 am to 11:30 am with overtime as production dictates.

Soil Sorter

Full Time Hourly Direct Hires Batavia, IL, US

Salary Range: $18.00 To $18.00 Hourly

PURPOSE : To provide quality service and products to our customers in a timely and professional manner.

JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for the correct sorting of linen that has been placed on a moving conveyor belt in front of them. Picks up soil linen and places it in the corresponding sling/cart. Follows standard operating procedures. Must meet quality and production standards.

• Must be able to work scheduled 3 am-11:30 am plus overtime

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Cross-train on other routes per production needs

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

• Be able to stand on feet up to 10 hours a day
• Sufficient manual dexterity to sort linen
• Must be able to consistently meet physical requirements such as bending, twisting, lifting and pulling
