NOVO Health Services is seeking a Soiled Linen Separator at our Atlanta location. You will open bags, manage carts, and ensure accurate weighing and recording of soil linen while supporting efficient, safe operations.

The role requires physical endurance such as lifting up to 100 pounds, standing for long periods, and clear communication to maintain fast-paced throughput. Competitive benefits are provided.

Responsibilities

• Open bags at breakout table and send linen to the belt.
• Move carts and manage soil carts in the work area.
• Break open bags at the bag breaker station.
• Sort items: bath blankets, sheets, undergarments, gowns, towels, and scrubs.
• Hoist, weigh, and stage soil slings; record weights and update logs.

If you are ready to commit to measurable performance and continuous improvement, we want to hear from you!**The successful candidate**:**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:*** Open up bags at the breakout table and send linen up the belt.* The primary cart mover (the attendant closest to the soil cart) brings the empty soil cart away from the belt, puts a new cart in the area, and takes the empty cart and pushes it to the cart area.* The bag breaker attendant breaks open the bags.* The attendants on the belt perform the following tasks:* One attendant sorts large pieces consisting of bath blankets, flat sheets, draw sheets, and thermals.* The second attendant sorts the second largest pieces – underpants, patient gowns, and fitted sheets.* The third attendant will handle all the rest of the pieces, such as bath towels, washcloths, hand towels, and scrubs.* The last stage of the soil room process is hoist and weigh or staging.
