Washington University in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Research/Laboratory Technician to support the CLEAN STL Project.

The assistant will perform soil sampling and laboratory analyses to evaluate lead exposure risks on residential and commercial properties and process resident-submitted soil samples. This time-limited role includes data management, equipment ordering, and collaboration with community partners, with renewal possible contingent on funding and performance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No specific work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting experiments.
• Assist with miscellaneous projects and experiments.
• Set up materials/labs.
• Collect data, maintain files on research, and assist with data entry.
• Assist with manuscript processing.
• Order equipment and supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
