Job summary

Parachute is seeking a proactive Keyholder to lead the sales floor and ensure a superior customer experience. You will work with store leadership to coach the team, prioritize daily tasks, and bring the Parachute shopping experience to life.

You will mentor staff, drive product knowledge, and support inventory, timekeeping, and store operations. This role emphasizes leadership, service, and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, showroom management or another customer-focused environment.
  • Experience leading a sales floor and supporting a team.
  • Strong customer service and sales instincts.
  • Comfortable using basic store reporting to understand performance and identify opportunities.
  • Organized and able to balance customer, team and operational priorities.
  • Confident stepping into a mentorship role, solving problems and taking initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the sales floor as Manager on Duty, setting priorities and supporting strong execution throughout your shift.
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience while building product knowledge, loyalty and lasting customer relationships.
  • Coach the team on selling behaviors, product knowledge and customer engagement.
  • Support store sales and KPI goals by understanding performance and identifying opportunities.
  • Execute daily operational priorities, including timekeeping, inventory, compliance and store maintenance.
  • Support inventory accuracy through receiving, transfers, fulfillment, cycle counts and back-of-house organization.
  • Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards, including product launches and seasonal changes.
  • Resolve customer concerns and make thoughtful decisions, partnering with store leadership when needed.
  • Share observations and insights with store leadership on the team, customers and business.
  • Support local events and community initiatives that build awareness and customer connection.
  • All other duties as assigned. Duties, tasks and responsibilities may change as directed or as needed by the business.

About This Role

As a Keyholder, you’ll be a leader on the sales floor, helping create an exceptional customer experience and keeping the store running smoothly. You’ll work closely with store leadership to coach the team, execute daily priorities and bring the Parachute experience to life. As a mentor and leader to the team during your shift, you will set the tone for the team, solving problems and ensuring customers and the business are well supported.

What You’ll Do

Who You Are
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience in retail, hospitality, showroom management or another customer-focused environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in home, interiors, lifestyle or another design-led retail environment.
  • Visual merchandising experience and a strong eye for presentation.
  • Experience with retail POS, inventory and reporting systems.

Compensation

Compensation may vary based on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and location. This role may be eligible for additional compensation through bonus or stock options.

Physical Commitments

This role requires availability based on the needs of the business, including weekends and holidays. The role is physically active and requires extended periods of standing and walking, regular lifting of up to 10 pounds, occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds, and the ability to bend, kneel, use ladders or step stools, and navigate stairs where applicable. Occasional overnight travel may be required.
