Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. seeks a Professional II, Software Verification in Berkeley Heights, NJ to lead software verification and validation activities for projects under development.

You will create test plans, execute automated and manual tests for 5G/LTE features across carrier networks, analyze data and logs, and coordinate with R&D to resolve issues while ensuring 3GPP and carrier compliance.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in electrical, electronics, telecommunications, computer science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in 5G NR, LTE and IMS validation per 3GPP and carrier requirements.
• Experience with protocol log analysis and debugging tools (QXDM, QPST, Wireshark).
• Experience with Android platforms and Qualcomm/Samsung chipset architectures.

Responsibilities

• Lead verification and validation of software design, requirements and functionality.
• Create and execute automated and manual test plans for 5G/LTE features in live networks.
• Analyze test data and logs; drive root-cause analysis with R&D teams.
• Develop test plans from carrier specs and 3GPP to ensure compliance.
• Propose improvements to testing scope and automation using Python.
