Job summary

SCCI is seeking a Software Tools Developer to join our CM team in Dahlgren, VA. You will manage and develop the Hardware CM database, support drawing number assignment, revision control, and baselines, and collaborate with CM and JIRA teams.

You must have at least one year of software development experience and strong skills in C#, C++, and VB.NET, with APIs and SQL expertise. A Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain an active Secret clearance.
• High School Diploma required.
• Minimum of one year of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C#, C++, and VB.NET.
• Experience integrating APIs and writing SQL functions.
• Knowledge of CM processes including baselines, change control boards, and release management.

Responsibilities

• Provide real-time visibility into the Hardware CM Database Tool for the BMS CM Lead.
• Ensure Hardware CM Tool updates follow software and CM best practices.
• Design, develop, test, and document the Hardware CM Tool progression for CM drawings and baselines.
• Collaborate weekly with CM and JIRA teams.
• Participate in CM, software development, and hardware engineering process improvements.
• Be an active participant in the DTRB.
• Adapt to changing technologies and organizational requirements.
• Provide timely status updates to leadership and sponsors.
• Provide alerts to Government representatives on potential issues.
• Maintain backlogs and provide work item estimations.
• Participate in daily standup meetings.

OverviewSCCI is seeking a Software Tools Developer to join our team! The successful candidate will be part of a team of Configuration Management (CM) Analysts working to manage CM information. This position ensures the integrity of the hardware baselines by managing and developing the critical Hardware CM database, drawing repositories, and change control pipelines that support our systems. This position is expected to interface with other functional areas (i.e. Hardware Engineering, CM, and JIRA IPT).
